The new Intensive English Program (IEP) has been redesigned to better prepare students who want to study in an international program in a university anywhere in the world.
The Intensive English Program is ideal for students who want to study a university course in English. An intensive 180-hour course which gives you a great chance to become a lot better at English.
There are three levels, elementary, intermediate and advanced, and it takes one semester to complete each level. Students who complete the advanced level will have learned the skills they need to successfully study in English at university level.
A TOEFL, IELTS or Payap Proficiency Test score and/or an oral interview are used to work out the applicant’s English level in order to place the student at the most beneficial level of instruction. Students are expected to attend all classes in which they are placed

The new Intensive English Program (IEP) has been redesigned to better prepare students who want to study in an international program in a university anywhere in the world.
The IEP consist of 4 levels of proficiency: Level 0 (Zero), Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 with Level 0 being the lowest ability and level 3 being the highest ability. Students with no English ability are able to join Level 0.
Levels 0 and 1 will focus on general English while Levels 2 and 3 will focus on the academic English needed in an international program at a university that is taught 100% in English such as Payap University’s International College (IC). The terms, beginner, intermediate and advanced are intentionally not used in the description of our levels to avoid any confusion with actual language ability in the IEP.

Thai Program Details
Learning Enhancement Center
These study programs are for non-native speakers of Thai and are offered in module format. They range from Thai 1 (Beginner – basic listening and speaking) through to Thai 8 (Thai for academic and literacy).
Fees
- 8,000 Thai Baht One-course tuition (60 hours), handouts, and application fees included.
- 37,000 Thai Baht Four successive courses in one enrollment (240 hours) with a six-month ED visa: documents for visa application, handouts, and application fees included.
- 69,000 Thai Baht Eight successive courses in one enrollment (480 hours) with a one-year ED visa: documents for visa application, handouts, and application fees included.
Remark: For students who are not able to obtain the Non-Immigrant ED Visa before entering Thailand, Payap University will assist them in changing their visa status to “Non-Immigrant ED;” however, an approval will be officially granted only by Chiang Mai Immigration Office.
